Sunday the 9th of August was beautiful sunny day at Molong (as usual) and the band got into full swing as the the afternoon got underway.

There was much fun and laughter as everyone tucked into a Slow Food Lunch of Southern Creole Cooking.

It was such an enjoyable experience that we are planning to do it again! So watch this space!

We beat the Winter Blues! Did you?

A fine and sunny afternoon helped get the day under way as the Roadhouse Rebels swung into action out on the gallery verandah! The house as full and the mood was fine!

More than 40 guests sat down to a Slow Food afternoon to enjoy Southern Creole Cooking from the Cafe Kitchen. Chef Grant Smith and his staff worked really hard to bring together a good food and wine experience for all. The Gumbo was great as was the Jambalaya and Shrimp a la Creole! Every plate was emptied and there was laughter in the air. Second Course saw us chomp into Southern Styled Sticky Pork Spare Ribs, Wood Baked Snapper Creole and Southern Fried Chicken. And the band played on.........

We finished with desserts of Chocolate Pecan Pie, Sweet Potato Pie and Spicy Banana Cheese Cake. It seemed like the afternoon shouldn't end, but all good things do end.

Thanks to all of you who came and enjoyed the day with us. Since this was such a good afternoon and people enjoyed and laughed and talked so much, that we have decided we will do it again! So watch this space where we will announce the next event!
